Who supports Vitalinfo
Vitalinfo is free for you and will stay that way. It is supported by companies and organizations that pay to show their brand, and by people who contribute their work. None of them ever sees any of your data.
Sponsors
They pay to show their brand
It is advertising, and we call it that. What they pay keeps the app free for everyone.
There are no sponsors yet
When the first one joins, it will appear here with its brand, and the rules below apply to it just as to those who come after.
I want to sponsorContributors
They contribute their work
Design, translation, proofreading, outreach. They neither pay nor get paid, and they appear here with their name and what they did.
- Prof. Federico Tejedor – Spreading the word about Vitalinfo.
The rules
Payment buys a brand on display. Nothing else
They apply equally to every sponsor, and none of them is negotiable. Contributors are bound by the same prohibitions.
What a sponsor buys
- Its logo and one line on this page, on the home page, in the app's footer and on the sign-in screen.
- The same for everyone: no rotation and no ads picked for each person.
- A plain link to its site, without counting who clicks.
- An agreed term: when it ends, its brand is removed.
What nobody buys
- No data: not yours, not anonymized, not aggregated across everyone.
- No tracking: the logos are stored in the app, with nobody's pixels or scripts.
- No influence over the guideline used to classify, over the values or over the monitors that are named.
- No place next to your health: never beside a measurement, the report or the link you send to your doctor.
Who can sponsor
Organizations that add value, and none that raise doubts
- Medical societies and foundations.
- Medical practices and centers, as institutions: sponsoring is neither recommending the app nor endorsing any number.
- Pharmacies.
- Companies unrelated to your treatment.
- Blood pressure monitor manufacturers, who never appear when you choose your device or in a recommendation.
- Pharmaceutical companies: the app records the medication you take.
- Health insurers and plans: nobody should have to wonder whether their coverage sees their blood pressure.
- Professionals in a personal capacity: a doctor's name next to the app would read as a recommendation.
- Ad networks of any kind.
